CTCSS Decode / Display Kit
Details
This kit measures each cycle of the CTCSS tone to provide a very fast response time taking < 250mS of valid CTCSS tone to decode.
You also get a good quality 2x8 LCD display (pictured above), which is easy to attach to the assembled kit.
There are two logic outputs for indicating the presence of one programmed tone. One output provides fast detect and drop and the second provides fast detect and an addtional 500mS delay to drop.
You can use the kit for rapid identification of tone in use when scanning repeater frequencies or when travelling around the country. You can also use it as a CTCSS decoder for base stations and repeaters.

This backlit display has standard pin outs and a Hitachi type driver. Backlight requires 4.05V at 60mA (e.g. 5V via a 16 ohm resistor) if used. |
